Classified Pagination Software
|
CLS from Managing Editor |
| |
CLS contains a powerful, customizable, rules-based pagination engine.
CLS lets you define your own layout rules, in plain English, so
your classified pages look exactly the way you want. CLS reads
advertising text and image files, builds a runsheet of the classified
items, examines the liners and display ads against the rules you
defined, and then flows them to pages. CLS offers multi-directional
flow, automatic page-squaring options, automatic header placement,
automatic vertical justification of elements, and auto-selection
and insertion of fillers. There's even a module that will flow
items horizontally. Completed CLS pages are opened in QuarkXPress
or InDesign for final output. |

ClassForce from Managing Editor |
| |
ClassForce is the perfect, low-cost, alternative for classified
pagination.
New productivity enhancements included in the latest version
of ClassForce include dockable palettes, that place the full
feature set of the program right at your fingertips. ClassForce
also offers double-truck support for automatic placement of spread
ads and support for breakable liners.
ClassForce provides semi-automatic flow of liners and display
ads coupled with classification-based controls for header and
filler positioning. A Macintosh-based application, ClassForce
reads advertising text and image files from a front-end booking
system, including all systems currently integrated with CLS.
ClassForce then builds a runsheet of the classified items, and
provides point-and-shoot pagination tools for fast and easy creation
of complete classified pages. |
